I was looking for a Fair Isle style sweater that was not "frumpy" and had some black. This seems to fit the bill. Right out of the box, I was concerned that it was a bit short waisted. It seems okay, but I will definitely wear a layering tank underneath. The pattern is prettier than the pictures show. The black reads a bit more brown to me but my sister says it's black and the tag says it's black. It seems a little bit scratchy for acrylic but with a layering tank it was fine. I usually wear an XL for bust and shoulders and yet the L fits fine. The picture makes the sleeves seem more 3/4 length than they actually are, but I rolled the cuffs.
