I purchased this sweater for my mother who lives in a nursing home. I needed something that would stand up to frequent washings where clothing is not given special care. This sweater is well made, very soft, and thick enough to provide some real warmth. It comes with a spare button and a bit of matching yarn. Hopefully it will withstand the laundry services at the nursing home. The pink color is much darker than the picture, but the baby pink Mom loves that I have been hunting for hasn't been in style for several years now. I am really hoping next year designers will come out with pale pinks, blues, greens, and whites.
